Great food and service. Homemade hot sauce. Good for vegetarians and gluten free options. Best place to eat off I35. Tamale was fantastic. Cheap.

Love this place! Their queso is perfection! I always order the taco salad. Grilled chicken or steak fajitas. So good!

The food here is great and very reasonably priced. The service is very so-so depending on who you get for a waitress/waiter, but better than a lot of places. DEFINITELY the best Mexican restaurant in 100 miles!

We went here Saturday evening at about 8pm with friends. It was my first trip there and I was not impressed at all. 1. The acoustics were awful. Our friend said it used to be a bar and where we sat was the dance floor. It was loud and noisy with a large room full of people at tables and a TV right above us. 2. The food was just okay. I shared a chimichanga with my daughter and while there was a lot of food, it didn't have much flavor. The meat appeared to be like the beef you'd get at Taco Bell. The Taco Salad was more like Taco Stew! There was no salad that I saw on our friend's plate. Just a soupy mess. 3. Our waiter seemed to be ...... odd. I think he was trying to be funny, but he was not understanding us and his jokes fell flat. When we spilled a drink that made a big mess, we had to go ask him twice, and then ask someone else before they came to clean off the table. The only good thing was their salsa. It had a little bit of kick, and some great flavor. I wanted to like it, but I don't think I'll go back on purpose.

The food is pretty average, not bad, but average. The chips taste like they came from a bag and the salsa has about as much kick as ketchup. The prices are low and you won't leave hungry. Finally, the service is friendly but very slow. Lunch took an hour.

Worst steak fajita I've had. No salt or any spices. Steak was tough (probably eye of round), overcooked and vegetables were burnt. The best part of the meal was the free water and there were maybe 8 tables in there and it still look a long time to get noticed by our server. She spent more time talking to her friends than the customers! The tacky decor needs to go, and the food has much room for improvement. The only reason I paid and tipped was because I was on a date. If this restaurant can stay in business, I feel extremely optimistic for opening mine. Do yourselves a favor. Google how to cook steak fajitas and don't be afraid to use some spices and a marinade. Thank God I'm moving and won't have to ever drive by there again.

The best Mexican food around!! My wife also say the best Margaritas around too. I have not had one food item that was not good. They also give a large serving so you will leave full and happy. Go here and you will be greatly pleased!!!

My wife and I ate here with a large family group and the food and service was outstanding. We got the Double Fajita Combo and it was enough to feed a small army. The cost was very reasonable. It was recommended by a relative who has eaten at a lot Mexican restaurants, and we are glad we went.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
